Where we stand now
After a long debate weighing the pluses and minuses of running tours I came away with this. Plus, It's a lot of fun finding new places like the erector set observation tower at Mt. Davis to the old historic baths in Berkeley Springs and seeing old and new friends, lots of memories here. Minus, It consumes all of my time with little gain has become the biggest road block, It is a business for me and it needs to contribute to the household. I don't measure success solely by monetary gain, I look at the quality of the product and how it was perceived. I would say we passed the test on both of these. So I am very happy with what we accomplished.
It's becoming more and more difficult to run interesting and cost effective tours in Pennsylvania. Tourism in PA is not being helped by gas drilling, poor road condition and rumble strips.
I have built Pedal PA to a point where it can no longer be run as a one man show but expanding it has many drawbacks. So the Southern Crossing is not being offered this year but I will continue to look at ways to make touring in PA work for me and my fans.

Awesome Penn Central Tour
Thanks to everyone that made the just completed Penn Central Tour a huge success. Great folks, great weather and an awesome staff. Keep sending photo's I will post a gallery soon. I also sent a survey to the participants and I am looking forward to reading the responses but I also would like to hear from those that did not sign up for this years tour. If some of you would take a moment to fill out and return the attached survey with responses that would pertain to you it would help us immensely in planning future tours. Thanks, Bill

Northern Crossing was a big hit!
 A big THANK YOU to the group that just crossed Northern PA with Pedal PA. It was a lot of fun for me too. There were a lot of highlights like the wine tasting at 10 am and the Kinzua bridge but my jaw dropped when Harland pulled up with his catering trailer in Wellsboro. That was a awesome meal by the pool. Some photo's of the tour are on Pedal Pennsylvania's facebook page, check them out!
